Our August Road Run was in Richard Johnson’s Royal Blue Bristol MW ECW coach EDV505D this replaced the previously advertised, Bedford OBs which would have been provided by Dr.Mike Walker who unfortunately has suffered a recent illness and was unable to attend, (get well soon Mike, from all the group).
Many of you will be aware from the latest edition of our quarterly journal “Bustler” that our June road-run did not go to plan as our former Newport Transport Atlantean EDW68D experienced a transmission fault not long after setting out from Barry.
About 25 members turned up at Barry on what had been a decent day, but which had rapidly turned into a wet evening for a journey on ex RVDC 16, a Leopard with a spacious and airy 51 seat, East Lancs body.
