Celebrating 90 Years of Western Welsh

Posted on September 8, 2019September 8, 2019 by ctpg

Over the last 2 days we have been celebrating the 90 year anniversary of the Western Welsh bus company through 2 celebrations.

The first was a depot open day at the Stagecoach Cwmbran depot. This was very well organised and comprised of a line up of Western Welsh buses as well as more modern vehicles. We even got to see the Megabus mascot.

Old meets new
You could get your name on a bus!

For the Sunday we opened our museum for a public running day and ran a selection of vintage buses at the event. The Stagecoach open topper helped make the Sunday extra special too.

Every bus in this video was taking part in the free shutles
The stagecoach open topper loads up ready to take another group of people around Barry.

We had great fun helping to run the Sunday event and also attending the Saturday one at the Stagecoach depot.
