SMALL BUS RUNNING DAY

Posted on May 5, 2016July 15, 2019 by Mike

Sunday 1st May heralded our small bus running day, in the end only one visiting Transit arrived (thanks to WHOTT) which was good as even our own Bustler No.1 was missing.  However we managed to run 3 small bus convoys around Barry celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Bustler introduction, part of the convoy was our freshly MOTed and repainted Rhondda Mercedes which looked the part.  Thanks must be given to Stagecoach for the paint work performed in record time and RTWilliams for the brake and MOT work.  Large buses were also running including Caerphilly 32 & 36, Bedwas 6, Cardiff 434 & 360 plus our Olympian and Newport Atlantean.  Altogether a good day which even the overcast weather did not spoil.
