A recent visit to Lydney has shown some good progress on Western Welsh 856 as can be seen in the photos below, the interior is almost complete with the freshly trimmed seats in original moquette looking fantastic. 856 has been a chassis up restoration using as much original or salvaged body and trim parts that could still be obtained. We hope to see 856 at Barry at some point in 2016.
