26/04/2015

Posted on April 28, 2015 by LeylandLynx

This week we look forward to the official handover of R792DHB – kindly being donated by Stagecoach in South Wales at their Cwmbran depot. It’s a significant vehicle in that, among numerous other ‘last’ allocades, it carries the last Alexander PS body and is the last high floor single deck delivered to the Stagecoach Group. It therefore carries the highest fleetnumber of any Stagecoach B10M bus – 20392. It was new in March 1998 to Cwmbran depot, and originally carried the fleet number 792.
In other news two of the group’s heritage buses passed their MOT for this rally season in the last fortnight – ex Bedwas Leyland Titan PAX466F and ex Cardiff Bus Dennis Dart 023.
Here is a short video at Thomas of Rhondda’s depot in Porth where the brake test on 023 took place outside.
