Posted on March 2, 2013 by LeylandLynx

The official launch of recently repainted and unique former Bedwas & Machen Leyland PD3, PAX466F was held at the “Twyn” Caerphilly, South Wales on Saturday 2 March 2013. The event was organised by Cardiff Transport Preservation Group to commemorate 100 years since the establishment of Bedwas & Machen Urban District Council. B & M no.6 PAX466F was accompanied by former Caerphilly U. D. C. PD3, 32 GNY432C and former Rhymney Valley District Council Leopard No.16, all three of these vehicles served in the R.V.D.C. fleet after the local government re-organisation of 1974. These buses now reside at the Bus Depot, Barry and are in the care of the CTPG and it’s members. Stagecoach in South Wales provided for public viewing one of their new delivery of modern saloon buses which now operate in the Caerphilly area.
