2012 Red And White Day

Posted on April 4, 2012 by LeylandLynx

As has become usual in the last few years the group attended the Red & White day at the Ferry Inn car park in the shadow of the First Severn Crossing. The day was bright and sunny though a little colder than last year, for a small event the attendance was good with around thirteen vehicles most representing Red & White or closely connected companies such as Western Welsh, National Welsh with geographically close Bristol Omnibus and Bristol Greyhound representing operators with connecting services in the area. A good number of visitors enjoyed the show and free bus trips into Chepstow as well as the food and drink on offer at the delightful Ferry Inn. Thanks go to Rob Edworthy for organising this event, which I’m sure was enjoyed by all.
