Pontypridd Utility Arrives at Barry

Posted on October 16, 2016July 15, 2019 by Mike

Pontypridd 40 a 1944 Bristol K6A with Park Royal utility bodywork arrived at Barry today (16/10) from its most recent home in Ipswich where restoration had begun on returning it to original form, it was originally purchased and stored at Winkleigh but moved to the East coast in the early 1990’s under its own power.  It has kindly been donated to the CTPG and will become an important vehicle showing a bus as it was delivered into service during the second world war.
