No.8 & 68

Newport Atlantean No.68 has had a slipping third gear for a few years this winter we decided it was time for it to be repaired after we found the drive bands were fully adjusted.  The photos below show the freshly rebuilt box and secondly it being refitted at RTWilliams.  We hope that 68 will be able to perform on our 2016 events.

Pontypridd No.8 also had drive problems, following 2014 BFT we found the clutch needed renewal so this winter it has been removed and sent away for rebuilding at Truckfix the photo below shows the wear plate being remade and the completed clutch back in place on the Regent.
