Seen below ex Caerphilly Urban District Council's  Massey bodied Leyland PD3/4 acquired by Cardiff Transport Preservation Group chairman, Mike Taylor

Purchased on E-Bay on 5 July 2006  This Massey Low-bridge bodied Leyland Titan PD3/4 was delivered new to Caerphilly Urban District Council, along with two other identical vehicles in late 1965.  Massey bodied PD3s had become firm favorites in the council owned fleet during the early 60s number 32 being the 6th delivered and only the second to receive an enclosed rear platform fitted with conductor/driver operated rear doors.

It is planned to return this PD3 to it's original Caerphilly Council livery of Mid-Brunswick Green and Ivory livery as soon as practicable and we hope to show off this very original Caerphilly Bus at our forthcoming rally, "Bus & Coach Wales 2007"
