ex Caerphilly Urban District Council Leyland bodied Leyland PD2/12 has been purchased by Cardiff Transport Preservation Group and it is planned to return it to South Wales during early 2007.  The bus has been dry stored in County Durham for the past fifteen years by Robin A. Jenkinson well known enthusiast and transport writer.  The vehicle is in fairly good condition bearing in mind its' 55 year history and needs relatively little mechanical and bodywork attention, it fills a gap in the growing CTPG collection which we hope will soon be on display at the former Western Welsh, Barry Depot.
