678

LKG 678 arrived at the Hereford Storage Centre at 1030am Saturday 13/1/07.
The journey went well, apart from a sixteen hour wait for the ferry at Calais, due to the south westerly gales which had disrupted sailings for at least the prevoius 24 hours.  The bus is none the worse for its journey, but strange to see it here on a windy, rainy January day albeit of up to 12C, rather than in Antibes in full-on sunshine at 30C and more!
Particular thanks go to Andrew Wiltshire for finding it in the first place, Danny for locating Christian, and Christian for parting with it - and of course Lyndon for paying for it and for its movement back to the UK, which cost more than the bus itself.
As can be seen there is certainly some work to be done, but it's much better than our Tiger CUH 856 was, and that one is coming on a treat.  (report from, John Woodward).

678 when new prior to delivery to Western Welsh in 1956.

678 seen in Wood Sreet Cardiff on its' way to the Central Bus Station to commence a short working to Taffs Well.
