570 is made ready for the last leg of its' journey back to Wales at Seaforth Docks Liverpool 25/3/07. |
resting at the M6 services Stafford. Though on-tow 570's engine was running, supplying braking assistance to the tow truck and power steering for Roger and Mac who sat in turn behind the wheel for the 250 mile journey. |

The three surviving Cardiff, Leyland engined Daimler Fleetlines. These buses were part of Cardiff's largest delivery of buses from one single supplier, (until the advent of the Alexander VRTs) and comprised 35 vehicles, always favorites with the drivers due to their speed and power steering. |
