Ready and waiting, the long anticipated day arrived on Saturday 22 July 2006.  All was set for ex Red & White Leyland Tiger PS1 with it's 32 seat Lydney Coachworks body now barely holding together, to make it's trip to secure storage in anticipation of a rebuild to it's former glory.

S1449 emerges under it's own power from the driveway in Chepstow, which has been home for the past 28 years, on Saturday 22/7/06.

Preparing to board Dave Hoare's low-loader for it's first outing in 28 years to a new temporary residence in Herefordshire, lets hope it won't be 28 years this time.

S1449 mounts the low-loader under it's own power in readiness for the two hour trip.

with sheet in place to prevent loosing any body parts on the carriageway during the journey.
