'Bus and Coach Wales 2008'

Sunday 7^th September 2008

 

We are pleased to announce the date of the fourth annual Merthyr transport rally organised by Cardiff Transport Preservation Group in association with Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council and Merthyr Tydfil College to be known as 'Bus and Coach Wales 2008' and which will incorporate the 'Merthyr Tydfil Vintage Bus Running Day'.

 

Free bus services will be provided to the local attractions hopefully including the Brecon Mountain Railway and the Rhymney Brewery where guided tours will be available.  A free town circular bus service will also link Merthyr Tydfil railway station with the bus station adjacent to the rally site.  Thanks must go to Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council and Merthyr Tydfil College for allowing the use of the whole college car park and facilities and also to our sponsors.  It is hoped to provide an even bigger and better rally than last year with many more exhibits from our own area and beyond. 

 

Entry forms are now available to any owners or groups having suitable vehicles for display.  So why not join us at Merthyr in 2008?
