The 2008 Barry Festival of Transport will take place on Sunday 8th June at Hood Road, Barry BARRY FESTIVAL OF TRANSPORT AT HOOD ROAD BARRY WATERFRONT IS BACK AGAIN THIS YEAR how do I get there? by road: leave M4 motorway at junction 33, take the A4232 to the next junction, then take the 3rd exit at Culverhouse Cross roundabout onto the A4050 continue to (left) A4231 Barry Docks Link Road, then (right) onto A4055 at Ty-Verlon roundabout continue along Cardiff Road straight on to Ffordd y Mileniwm to Morrisons roundabout then straight on to enter Hood Road Show ground. by bus: Cardiff Bus services 95 or 96 from Cardiff Central Bus Station to Broad Street Old Bus Depot. by train: from Cardiff Central Railway Station to Barry (Town) Station this event is scheduled for : Sunday 8th June and will commence at 1000 concluding at 1700. Enter a Bus, Lorry, Classic car, Motorbike or any suitably interesting old or new vehicle or stationary engine, all entrants receive refreshments on the day along with a rally plaque.
