Buses of The Capital

525 was the last of the Swifts which numbered twenty in all and were the first OMO equipped buses in the fleet, though initially used on crew routes, due to union acceptance problems. They eventually found a home on services 40A and 40B to Heathwood Road and later became the star performers on the then newly introduced City Circle routes 1 and 2. Number 512 is preserved by The Cardiff Transport Preservation Group.
