Buses of The Capital

Cardiff's first "Birmingham New Look" Guy Arab IV's arrived in 1953 bodied locally by D.J.Davies on Park Royal frames. Numbered 26 - 40 in the fleet they were never popular with drivers due to their low speed and less than positive (nye ponderous) gear selection to their 4-speed constant mesh gearboxes. Three (27, 34 and 35) became driver training vehicles in 1969 lasting just two years in the roll.
