Bus & Coach Wales 2010 photo review:

This year, the day arrived, with Merthyr rain!   The vehicles and visitors still rolled in; that was Bus & Coach Wales this year at Merthyr.  The College car parks were soon full not withstanding the inclement start to the day, many classic cars of the 1950s and 60s along with a large number of buses and coaches ranging in age from the early 1950s to the latest re-furbished Cardiff Bus Dart displaying Cardiff's revised livery.  Edwards, Top Kat and Acorn Coaches among others were represented along with the now usual display of heavy recovery vehicles presented by local firm R. T. Williams.  Sales stands were once again present within the Merthyr College along with refreshments and though cloudy the day brightened up considerably drying out the previously wet display area at this popular South Wales event.  Free bus services were once again active with visitors once again enjoying the ever popular trips to the New Rhymney Brewery and the Brecon Mountain Railway.  Cardiff Transport Preservation Group would like to thank all our sponsors of our event, those groups and individuals who supported us by bringing their restored vehicles of all types and of course all those who helped make this another great day at Merthyr.
